Wood Doors

Molded doors include textured and flush 3mm HDF skins (High Density Fiber), that have a 35, 40 or 45 mm thickness, FJ pine or hard wood frames and a Honey Comb core; the outer door stile is reinforced to install any kind of conventional handset. PVA glue is used in order to meet Chilean standards for interior use.
The molded faces or skins are made using a modified wood fiber process, producing an excellent quality panel.
During the manufacturing process, the refined wooden fibers are mixed with resin and wax, producing a continuous sheet of the same thickness and density. This continuous layer is cut into individual sheets which are passed through a hot press, where they are compressed under heat and high pressure, creating a HIGH DENSITY MOLDED panel with a smooth or textured surface, imitating wood grains. The density of the skins is 1,000 kgs/m3. Finally, it is painted with a high quality white primer or sealer, obtaining and excellent base for the finishing paint coat applied when the door is installed.
